Fenny Castle Pinot Noir Red 2022
We only make a red wine from our Pinot Noir grapes in exceptional years and 2022 has to be the best vintage we have had since planting the vineyard.
We selected the ripest grapes for this wine, crushed and destemmed, fermented in stainless steel with daily pigeage followed by six months in small new French oak barrels and ageing in stainless steel with a final malolactic fermentation.
This wine is very much ‘old world’ in style, fresh, delicate cherry notes with well balanced tanin and acidity. Lovely paired with grilled steak, salmon and cheese.
