Fenny Castle Vineyard 2024 Tour Dates

Come and join us in the vines surrounded by spectacular countryside.

We have been running our tours for over ten years and the have come to be the most popular items in our online shop. We run them at 4pm on Saturdays between April and October. The tour lasts for two hours and gives visitors an insight into every aspect of our grape growing nd wine wamking year.

On arrival we gather for a brief introduction in our little vineyard tasting area and then walk the five minutes to the main vineyard. Here James tells you the story of his journey into the English wine industry and how the vineyard was planted. We look at the different grape varieties, trellis and training systems and talk through the key stages of vine development and the work carried out during the vineyard year from pruning in January right up to harvest in late September and October.

We return to the tasting garden and taste a selection of our award winning wines and James talks you through the wine making process with particular emphasis on our traditional method sparkling wines.

At the end of the tour you will of course be able to buy our wines by the bottle or case from our cellar door shop.

Tours start at 4.pm on Saturday.
