The 2022 vintage was an amazing year for English still wines.
The season started with an early budbust followed by almost perfect growing conditions producing superb quality Ortega fruit.
This 2022 Ortega Special Reserve wine is a small allocation that we held back to release in 2026 and it is by far our best ever still wine.
This wine has a rich peach and apricot fruit character with lovely weight and richness and soft acidity. It has aged beautifully and is prefect on its own or as an accompaniment to fish or white meat dishes.
